Generate content in Studio
Studio is where every generation begins: you pick a starting point, wire in the ingredients it needs, and start the run. This page is the complete reference for all four of Studio’s workspaces. For a first run walked through end to end, see Generate your first content.
Pick a starting point
Open Studio. It greets you with a carousel — What is the starting point of your new test? — holding every kind of thing you can make.

- Scroll, drag, or use the arrow keys to bring a card to the centre.
- Every card carries a colour-coded category badge — Knowledge, Strategic, Ad Copy, Visual, Pages, Offer, or Assets — so you can see at a glance which family it belongs to.
- Click the centred card, or press Start, to open it.
What you choose decides which of Studio’s four workspaces you land in. The rest of this page covers each one.
The canvas — avatars, angles, hooks, and every kind of copy
Anything that builds on something else — a Customer Avatar, Marketing Angle, Hook, Body, Headline, Offer, and the rest of your ad and page copy — opens the canvas: a row of connected cards, wired left to right. The ingredients you provide sit on the left and feed the thing you’re generating on the right.

Working across the canvas:
- Attach what it needs. A card marked Required must be filled before you can generate. Open its dropdown — here, Select Marketing Angle — and pick an item such as Science-backed results. Everything that item was built from — its avatar, research and product — links in automatically as read-only references, so the whole strategy rides along.
- Set the quantity. Each generated card has a −/+ stepper. In a multi-step run, a downstream card counts per parent.
- Tune the model. The gear (⚙) on any card opens its model and settings.
- Preview any attached item with the eye button to confirm it’s the right one.
- Generate vs Start Pipeline. One thing to make shows Generate. Switch on downstream cards and Studio chains them — generating tier by tier — and the button becomes Start Pipeline.
- Canvas Guide. New to the canvas? The ? button (top right) opens the Canvas Guide, a living key to every card, line and control.
- Resolve conflict. If two ingredients disagree on a shared foundation, the Generate button becomes Resolve conflict — click it to choose which one to build on, and the rest are cleared.
Your setup saves as you go. The Saved automatically chip spells out the promise: “Your setup is saved as you work. You can safely leave or reload — your progress will be waiting when you return.” Reset (bottom left) clears the setup and returns you to the picker.
Research runs — market research, awareness, sophistication, and customer reviews
Market Research, Awareness Report, Sophistication Report and Customer Reviews are commissioned, not wired — so they open a focused composer instead of the canvas.

- Subject — the product the research is about. For Customer Reviews it’s the product whose customers get listened to. Required.
- Focus — an optional brief of the questions or angles the run should chase.
- Engine — the research engine that does the work, on your own keys. Customer Reviews harvests real voice-of-customer from Amazon reviews, Reddit and Web mentions (shown as the Harvested from chips); the market reports run a deep-research engine.
- Runs — how many independent reports to produce.
- The Pipeline strip across the top shows the stages the run will move through and an honest time estimate — typically 3–10 min for a review harvest, typically 5–20 min for deep research.
Press Start harvest (Customer Reviews) or Start research (the reports) to begin.
A review harvest is the fastest way to give your copy real customer language to cite — see the playbook Turn customer reviews into research.
Image runs — art-direct a set of creatives
Starting from Image opens the image composer: you brief the visuals, set the format, and render a set.

- Copy inputs — bind the Hook (required) the visuals must sell, plus any Headline, Body, Primary Text or Description. The image inherits that copy’s whole strategy chain (angle, avatar, research).
- Art direction — a baseline instruction every variation follows. Make more than one and each gets its own Per-variation direction line to push it somewhere different.
- Format — the aspect ratio and placement (square feed, portrait feed, or story).
- Model — the image model every variation renders on.
- Variations — how many to generate; you keep the winners afterwards.
Press Generate 4 Images (the number follows your variation count).
Page runs — assemble a page from copy
Landing Page, Product Page, Advertorial Page and Listicle Page open the page composer, where a proven template carries your copy.

- Source copy — the page copy the page is built from (required). Its full ancestry — angle, avatar, research, product — travels into the generation as context; the breakdown in the footer shows exactly what each page is built from.
- Template — a gallery of four proven layouts for that page kind, each shown as a live preview. A Buy box marker means the template sells a product directly, so make sure a product is in the copy’s chain.
- Direction & brand — optional guidance for tone and imagery, plus brand accent colours the palette should respect.
- Model and Pages — the writing model, and how many pages to build.
Press Build Landing Page. The finished page opens in the page editor, where you refine and publish it — see Page Editor.
What a generation costs
Every run is written by your own AI provider, on the keys you’ve connected — Studio never bills you per word or per image. Add or manage those keys under Usage & AI keys.
When you start a run you land straight on its batch. As each composer notes: “You’ll land on the batch page and can keep working while it generates.” Close the tab if you like — the run continues in the background, and the results wait for you under Batches.
Troubleshooting
Generate is greyed out. Hover it to see Missing required: … — the ingredients still needed. Attach them on the canvas (or fill them in the composer’s summary, which lists what’s Still needed), and the button lights up.
“Add your AI keys.” Generation runs on your own AI provider, so you need a key on file. Add one under Usage & AI keys, then start the run again.
Want to start over? Press Reset on the canvas, or All types in a composer, to clear your setup and return to the picker.
