From product to live ad
It’s 2pm. By 4pm you want a fresh test for one product running on Meta — real ads, small budget, live. This is the whole chain in one sitting: about 45 minutes of hands-on work, with a research harvest running in the background while you do the rest. Each phase below is short and links to its full guide when you want every detail.
The running example is Vital Root’s Daily Greens Superblend.
1. Ground it — 2 minutes
One thing has to be in place before anything else: the product, in your library, with its cost filled in.
- Open Library ▸ Products and confirm Daily Greens Superblend is there with its COGS (cost of goods) set. That cost is what lets Omnymous report real profit later, not just revenue. See Manage your products.
- If you have no research on this product yet, do that one prep step first. A review harvest gives your copy real customer language to cite, and it runs while you work on everything else. See Turn reviews into research.
2. The strategy layer — 10 minutes
Every ad needs a who and a why: a customer avatar and a marketing angle.
- Have a winner already? Reuse it. If The Considered Buyer on the Science-backed results angle sold well last time, build straight on it. See Double down on a winning avatar.
- Starting fresh? Generate an avatar, then an angle from it, on the Studio canvas. Take the beginner’s pace your first time through. See Generate your first content.
3. The words — 10 minutes
Now turn the angle into ad copy: a few hooks, the primary text, and a headline.
- On the Studio canvas, start a Hook and attach your angle. Everything the angle was built from — its avatar, research, and product — rides along automatically, so the whole strategy travels with the words. Generate three.
- Do the same for Primary Text and Headline, or wire all three into one pipeline so the canvas chains them in a single run.

4. The visuals — 10 minutes
Copy in hand, make the images. Start an Image run in Studio:
- Bind a hook as the copy the visuals have to sell — the whole strategy chain comes with it.
- Set the format to match where the ad will run: square feed, portrait feed, or story. Ask for a few variations so you have choices.
- Curate the results in the batch gallery. Keep the winners; if one is close but not right, fix it in place with Edit with AI — “make the product pop”, “swap the background” — without regenerating from scratch.
5. Assemble and launch — 15 minutes
Your images become ads with one button. On the finished image batch, click Publish (the rocket) — this is the moment your content becomes launchable.

Publish drops you straight into the Launcher with your batch already filtered in, so the creatives you just made are the only ones on screen.

From here it’s four short steps. Every click is walked through in Launch your first campaign, and every option is documented in the Launcher reference:
- Select Creatives — pick the two you want to test.
- Select Pages — choose one landing page for the ads to send clicks to.
- Structure & Settings — the Launcher lays out the campaign, ad set, and ads for you from the shared lineage. In Launch settings ▸ Campaigns, leave Initial status on Paused and set a small Daily budget (Vital Root uses $50). On the Ad Sets tab, click the Audience row and set at least a Location.
- Launch — the plan becomes a live board and each ad flips to Created, with its Meta id on the row.
Launch Paused the first time. Your ads are built in Meta but spend nothing until you switch them on in Meta Ads Manager. Check everything there, then flip it on when you’re ready.
6. Close the loop
The test is live. Once you switch it on in Meta and it starts delivering, watch it earn:
- Analytics ▸ Campaigns lists it once it delivers, badged Launcher, with spend and orders building there. See Campaign analytics.
- Analytics ▸ Creatives ranks each creative, hook, and page against the orders it actually drove. See Creative analytics.
In about two weeks the leaderboard reaches a verdict: a clear winner among your hooks, angle, and avatar. That winner is the starting point for test #2 — double down on it and go again.
Why this chain matters. Every piece you make carries its lineage — this hook came from that angle, which came from that avatar. So when the orders land, the analytics can tell you which hook, angle, and avatar made the money, not just that the campaign did. That traceability is what makes test #2 smarter than test #1, instead of another fresh guess.
Troubleshooting
Nothing generates — “Add your AI keys.” Every generation runs on your own AI provider, so you need a key on file. Add one under Usage & AI keys, then start the run again.
The Launcher won’t let you pick an ad account. Your Meta account isn’t connected, or it isn’t chosen in the Launcher yet. Connect Meta under Integrations, then open the Launcher’s Launch settings gear and choose your Ad Account and Facebook Page on the Account tab. See Connect Meta and your ad platforms.
