Launch your first campaign
Turn the creatives sitting in your library into a live Meta campaign. The Launcher walks you from picking images to ads running in Meta Ads Manager in about 15 minutes.
Before you start
- A connected Meta account. Your ad account and Facebook page come from Meta. Connect them first under Integrations — see Connect Meta and your ad platforms.
- Creatives and a landing page in your library. You need at least one ad image and one landing page to run an ad. Create them in Studio, or follow From product to live ad.
- Your Meta account set in the Launcher. Open Launcher, click the Launch settings gear at the top right, and on the Account tab choose your Ad Account and Facebook Page. Click Save Settings. This is a one-time step per store.

Vital Root picks the Vital Root Ads account and the Vital Root page. The Pixel is worth setting too — it’s how Meta optimizes toward purchases.
Pick your creatives
The Launcher opens on Select Creatives — your ad-creatives library, ready to multi-select. Click one to three images you want to test.

As you select, the Breakdown button in the footer collects what your creatives share — their product, angle, and avatar. Click Next.
Your setup saves automatically as you build — the Saved automatically chip at the top right confirms it. Leave and come back anytime; Reset in the footer starts over.
Pick a landing page
Select Pages shows your landing pages. Choose the page your ads should send clicks to.

The Launcher pairs each creative with a matching page automatically. Pick a page and click Next.
Review the structure
Structure & Settings lays out exactly what gets built in Meta: Campaigns, Ad Sets and Ads, left to right.

Two creatives and one page resolve to a single campaign for Daily Greens Superblend, one ad set, and two ads. Each column has an editable naming template — placeholders like {product_name} and {creative_name} fill in from your library, and the defaults already match how your launch is grouped.
If a test grows large, the Launcher flags it — Meta recommends fewer than 50 ads per ad set for the best learning.
Set the budget and launch status
Open the Launch settings gear and switch to the Campaigns tab.

- Budget — CBO sets one budget for the whole campaign; ABO sets a budget per ad set. Enter a Daily budget (Vital Root uses $50).
- Delivery — leave Initial status on Paused for your first launch. Your ads are created in Meta but spend nothing until you switch them on in Ads Manager.
Setting Initial status to Active starts real delivery and spends your budget the moment you launch. Launch Paused the first time, check everything in Ads Manager, then turn it on.
Set your audience
Switch to the Ad Sets tab and click the row under Audience. An audience is required before you can launch.

In Audience Targeting, choose at least a Location (or a custom audience). Add age, gender, interests and platforms if you want, then click Apply Targeting. The Ads tab holds the Call to action button and optional URL parameters for tracking.
Launch
Click Launch. The plan you just reviewed becomes a live board — the same campaign, ad set, and ads, each row updating as it’s created in Meta.

Each ad moves from Queued to Created, picking up its Meta id along the way. When everything lands you’ll see All ads created — and since you launched Paused, a reminder to enable delivery in Ads Manager. Open Ads Manager takes you straight there.
What happens next
Your campaign now appears in Analytics → Campaigns. Once your ads start delivering, performance and attribution build there — spend, orders, and which creative drove them. If you launched Paused, switch the campaign on in Meta Ads Manager when you’re ready for it to spend.

Troubleshooting
The Launch button is dimmed — something the launch needs is missing. Hover the button for the checklist, or click the amber hint next to it (for example Needs budget · targeting) — it opens the panel with the fix.
No ad accounts or pages to choose from — your Meta account isn’t connected. Connect it under Integrations, then reopen Launch settings ▸ Account. See Connect Meta and your ad platforms.
An ad shows Failed on the launch board — the reason is right on the row, and the left panel groups failures by cause. The other ads still launch; fix the flagged creative or page and run the Launcher again for it.
