AnalyticsDashboard

Your dashboard

The Dashboard is your store’s front door — one screen that answers “did the last month work?” It always shows the last 30 days: what you made, what you spent, what came back, and how your creative is doing.

The Vital Root dashboard: a Quick Actions row, an eight-tile KPI strip led by Net Revenue, the ROAS by Period chart and the Creative Pipeline card

Quick Actions

The row of shortcuts across the top jumps you straight into the create flows:

  • New Batch — compose and run a generation in the Studio.
  • Bulk Upload Ads — push creatives live to Meta with the Launcher.
  • Track Campaign — import a Meta campaign so its results show up in Campaigns.
  • Import Products — sync your catalog from Shopify into Products.
  • Ask Omni — open a chat with Omni, your marketing copilot.

You only see the shortcuts your role can act on. New Batch, Bulk Upload Ads and Ask Omni need the Member role or higher; anyone can use Track Campaign and Import Products. See Team & roles.

The KPI strip

Eight tiles, each the headline number for the last 30 days. Each tile also shows how it moved vs prev. — the same 30-day window before this one — once there’s enough history to compare.

  • Net Revenue — sales after discounts and refunds. The top line you actually keep from orders.
  • Net Profit — what’s left after every cost: product, shipping, fees, ad spend and fixed overhead.
  • Blended ROAS — net revenue divided by total ad spend. 6.21x means every $1 of ads brought back $6.21 in revenue.
  • Ad Spend — total spent across your ad platforms in the window.
  • Orders — number of orders placed.
  • AOV — average order value: revenue divided by orders.
  • Creative Win Rate — the share of your launched creatives that beat 1.3× your account-average ROAS — your hit rate on new ads.
  • Creatives Launched — how many creatives went live in the window.

ROAS by Period

This chart plots your blended return per day — net revenue divided by that day’s ad spend — as the line, with ad spend shaded underneath. The dashed line sits at — break-even, where a day’s revenue exactly equals its ad spend. Above the line the day paid for itself; below it, it didn’t. Follow Store analytics in the card’s corner to slice this by any date range in Store analytics .

Creative Pipeline

This card tracks a creative’s whole life — Generation → launch → winner — so you can see where output turns into results.

The Creative Pipeline card: a 16.7% win rate above the Generated, Launched, With Spend and Winners bars

The big number is your Win Rate (launched creatives beating 1.3× your account average), and the bars below narrow from left to right:

  • Generated — creatives you made.
  • Launched — creatives you put live.
  • With Spend — launched creatives that have actually run budget.
  • Winners — the ones clearing the win bar.

At the foot, Cost / Launched is what each live creative cost you to make, and Adoption Winners counts winners that spread into more of your campaigns. The Creatives link opens the full Creatives leaderboard.

Recent Batches and Top Creatives

The bottom row is your recent activity at a glance.

The lower dashboard: the Recent Batches list of generation runs beside the Top Creatives leaderboard with Spend, Revenue and ROAS columns

  • Recent Batches lists your latest generation runs — each with its make-up (like 3× advertorial · 3× landing page), a status such as Completed, and how many pieces succeeded. All batches opens the full history in Batches.
  • Top Creatives ranks your highest-spend creatives by the revenue they brought back, with Spend, Revenue and ROAS columns. Leaderboard opens the full ranking in Creatives.

Why there’s no date picker

The Dashboard is deliberately fixed to the last 30 days — it’s a pulse check, not a report. When you need to change the window, compare periods, or dig into the numbers, that’s what the Store analytics pages are for.

Troubleshooting

Every tile shows a dash for the change. The vs prev. comparison needs a full prior 30-day period to measure against. New stores won’t have one yet; it fills in as history builds.

The dashboard is empty or says to connect a store. The numbers need a connected Shopify store to measure revenue, spend and attribution. Connect one from Stores.

A shortcut is missing from Quick Actions. That destination needs a role you don’t have — New Batch, Bulk Upload Ads and Ask Omni are for Members and up. See Team & roles.

My profit looks off. Profit depends on your costs being set. Check per-product COGS in Products and your cost rules on the Costs  page — see Store analytics.
