Turn reviews into research
Your customers already tell you why they buy — in their reviews, on Reddit, in the survey you sent after their first order. This playbook turns that voice into research your copy can quote, in about four minutes. Two ways in: let Omnymous harvest the voice for you, or bring reviews you already have. Either way, you end up with the same thing — your customers’ own words, organized and ready for every generation to cite.
Route A — harvest it automatically
The fastest path: point Omnymous at a product and let it read what people are already saying about it across the web.
1. Open the Customer Reviews composer
Open Studio and choose Customer Reviews from the type picker. It opens a focused composer — Customer Reviews — Real customer voice mined from Amazon, Reddit, and the web.

- Under Subject, choose the Product whose customers you want to listen to — here, Daily Greens Superblend.
- Harvested from shows where the voice comes from: Amazon reviews, Reddit, and Web mentions.
- Focus is an optional brief of what to listen for — objections, delight moments, comparisons. The sharper the brief, the sharper the report. Here it’s “the words customers use for their energy and gut-health wins — plus the taste and price objections that hold buyers back.”
- The Omnymous Review Miner does the reading, on your own AI keys — nothing to bill per report.
Press Start harvest. The strip along the top is honest about timing: a harvest is typically 3–10 min.
2. Watch it work
You land on the run’s page, which becomes a live theater while the harvest is underway.

- The heading reads Listening to your customers, with an Elapsed timer and a progress bar.
- The Live feed streams the work as it happens — sources located, opinions extracted, then normalized and analyzed.
- You don’t have to sit here: “You can leave this page — the run continues in the background and the report lands in your Library.”
3. Read the report
When the harvest finishes, the same page becomes a reading room: your customers’ voice, sorted into sections you can act on.

The report — Customer Reviews — Daily Greens Superblend — opens with a plain-English Summary, then breaks the voice down into the sections listed under On this page:
- Pain Points — what annoys people, in their words, with how often each comes up.
- Product Benefits — what they love, and how loudly.
- Objections — the doubts to answer before a shopper raises them.
- Psychographics — what they’re really buying, underneath the product.
- Social Proof — the lines worth quoting straight back in your copy.
Every section carries an Edit and a Refine with AI so you can tighten it, and Open in Library files the report alongside the rest of your Knowledge.
A harvest is a real research run — the same machinery behind market research. It lands in Batches the moment you start it, so you can queue one and get on with other work while it reads.
Route B — bring your own
Already sitting on a pile of reviews? Export them from your store’s reviews app — or your survey tool — as a spreadsheet and bring them in directly. No harvest needed.
- Open Knowledge and select the Brand category.
- Click Add, then choose Customer Reviews (or Customer Surveys).
- Drop your file on Click to upload — it accepts CSV, XLS, XLSX.
- Under Dependencies, link the Product these reviews are about, then press Upload.

Your reviews become Knowledge the AI reads — exactly like a harvested report, tied to the same product. The full mechanics of importing (accepted formats, linking a product) live in the Knowledge guide.
Put it to work
However it got there, this research is now context every generation can cite. That’s the whole point: you stop briefing a copywriter who has never met your customers, and start briefing one who has read every review.
- Generate avatars grounded in it. Build a customer avatar from the report and it inherits the real pains and desires, not guesses.
- Spin angles that answer real objections. Take a winning avatar and double down on it — the angles land because they answer doubts your customers actually raised.
- Refine a section, then reuse it. Use Refine with AI in the reading room to sharpen any section before it feeds your copy.
Concrete example: the harvest above read Daily Greens Superblend’s reviews and opened its report with “It earns its counter space in the first week … consistent results, day after day. No ritual, no learning curve, no fine print.” That’s a promise and a hook you didn’t have to invent — it came straight out of what buyers already said. Drop it into a headline and keep moving.
Troubleshooting
The harvest came back thin. Very niche or brand-new products don’t have much public review chatter yet. Bring what you do have in with Route B above — even a modest export of your own reviews gives the AI real language to work from.
The report reads generic. Tighten the Focus brief before you run it — name the objection, the competitor, or the outcome you want understood — and start a fresh harvest. A pointed brief comes back pointed.
Start harvest is greyed out. A harvest needs a Product as its subject. Pick one under Subject and the button lights up. If you see a message about AI keys, add one under Usage & AI keys — harvests run on your own provider.
