Manage your plan and billing

See what you pay, update your card, and cancel or resume your subscription — all from the Billing tab. Only owners can see or change billing.

Open the Billing tab

Go to Billing in your account settings. It reads like a statement: your plan and status at the top, the numbers below, and your card on file at the bottom.

Your plan

Omnymous has one plan — also called Omnymous — and everything is included. You choose how you’re billed and how many stores you run:

  • Monthly$149/mo for your first store.
  • Yearly$1,490/yr for your first store (two months off versus monthly).
  • Each additional store adds $19/mo on the same cycle.

Your billing cycle is set when you first subscribe during setup — see Set up your workspace. Connecting more stores changes your price automatically; that’s covered in Manage your stores.

Read your statement

The card lays out exactly what you’re paying and when:

  • Omnymous with an Active status pill, and Billed monthly · the one plan, everything included (or Billed yearly).
  • Rate — your total per cycle, e.g. $149/mo.
  • Billing cycleMonthly or Yearly.
  • Renews on — the date your plan renews and you’re next charged. If you’ve cancelled, this becomes Access until instead.
  • Auto-renewOn while your plan renews automatically, Off once you’ve cancelled.
  • The stores line breaks the price down — for example, 1 store included — additional stores $19/mo each.
  • Your card on file — for example, Visa •••• 4242 · expires 12/2034.

Change your card or see invoices

Click Billing Portal. This opens Omnymous’s secure payment portal in a new tab, where you can update the card on file and view or download every past invoice. When you’re done, close the tab to return to Omnymous.

Cancel or resume

At the bottom of the card, Cancelling keeps your access until your renewal date, and you can resume any time before then. To cancel, click Cancel subscription. A confirmation spells out exactly what happens:

The "Cancel your subscription?" dialog explaining you keep access until the renewal date, then the workspace is frozen and deleted 30 days later

The dialog reads Cancel your subscription?Your plan stays fully active until the end of the period you already paid for. It then lays out three things:

  • You keep full access until your renewal date. No further charges.
  • After that, your organization is frozen and its data is permanently deleted 30 days later.
  • Changed your mind? You can resume from this page any time before that date and nothing is lost.

To confirm, click Cancel subscription in the dialog. To back out, click Keep subscription.

Once cancelled, the card shows a Subscription ends on notice with a Resume subscription button — and Auto-renew flips to Off. Click Resume subscription any time before the end date to turn auto-renew back on and keep everything.

Cancelling is not instant deletion, but it is a countdown. You keep full access until your paid period ends; after that the workspace is frozen, and its data is permanently deleted 30 days later. Resume before the end date and nothing is lost.

When a payment fails

If a renewal charge fails, a banner appears across the top of the app for everyone in the workspace so no one is caught off guard:

  • Payment failed. As an owner, you’ll see a prompt to fix it — Resume your plan (or Pay now once retries are running low) — which lets you settle the charge and update your card.
  • Final notice. After repeated failed attempts, the banner turns red and counts down to when the workspace will be frozen.

Non-owners see the same facts with a nudge to contact a workspace owner — everyone knows the workspace is at risk, but only owners can fix it.

If your workspace is frozen

If a cancellation reaches its end date, or payments keep failing, the workspace is frozen: the app is replaced by a single locked screen. Your data is safe and fully preserved for a limited window, and the screen shows:

  • Reactivate subscription — for owners, this starts a fresh subscription (using your saved card or a new one) and returns you to exactly where you left off.
  • Export my data — available to everyone, so you can download a copy before the deadline.
  • A deletion countdown — how many days remain until the data is permanently deleted, and the exact date.

Non-owners are asked to have a workspace owner reactivate, or to switch to another organization from the sidebar.

A frozen workspace’s data is permanently deleted when the countdown reaches zero — this cannot be undone. Reactivate (or export) before the date shown on the locked screen.

Troubleshooting

“No active subscription” This means your organization has no subscription on file. Subscriptions are set up during onboarding, so this is unusual — contact support@omnymous.com and we’ll sort it out.

A charge looks higher than expected Your price is driven by how many stores you’ve connected — each store beyond the first adds to the rate. Check the stores breakdown line on the Billing card to see the math, and open the Billing Portal to review the itemized invoice.

You don’t see a Billing tab Only owners can see or change billing. If you need something changed, ask a workspace owner.
