My analytics look empty
No data, thin data, or figures that keep changing: the store and period, a store still importing, a paused pixel, a stopped ad platform, untagged ads.

Analytics fills in from three sources: your store’s orders from Shopify, the visits your pixel records, and your ad platforms’ spend. When a screen is empty or thin, one of them is missing. Check in this order: the first causes are the most common.
You are looking at another store or period
Every Analytics screen shows one store, the one named in the store switcher at the foot of the sidebar, and one period, chosen at the top of the screen, such as Last 30 days. Pick the store and a period in which it had orders.
The store is new
A store connected today has no history yet: Shopify sends its past orders after it connects, and a large store takes a while. Figures fill in as they arrive, without anything to do on your side. While Omnymous rebuilds a store’s history, Rebuilding history stands beside the period: see The history is being rebuilt.
The pixel is not reporting
Without the pixel, orders still arrive, but none is tied to a visit or an ad. Shopify can pause the Omnymous pixel when it is not set to Always on. Measurement health says what Shopify reports for it, and so does the store’s card in Stores.
- In the sidebar, under Analytics, choose Campaigns, then Attribution at the top right.
- Read Pixel data access. Always on is what the pixel needs; Optimized, Limited or Paused means Shopify can pause it or already has.
- If it is not Always on, press Open Customer events under it, click Omnymous, select Always on and click Save. Back in Omnymous, the figure turns to Always on.
- Read Pixel Events (24h) and Sessions (24h). On a store with visitors, both are above zero.
Visits are recorded again from then on: the hours the pixel was paused cannot be recovered. See Check that the pixel is reporting.
An ad platform stopped updating
If your ad spend reads $0, or stopped at a date, open Integrations in your account menu. A platform that stopped authorizing Omnymous reads Reconnect needed: see Reconnect a platform. A platform that was never connected has Connect on its row.
Your ads are not tagged
Revenue arrives, but little of it is credited to an ad: the visits from your ads do not name the ad that sent them. Ads launched from Omnymous are tagged for you; ads you run from elsewhere need it added. See Tag your ads, and the share of spend each table explains in When your numbers look wrong.
The figures keep changing
- Rebuilding history beside the period: figures move until the rebuild ends.
- Today is still going: the day’s figures grow until it ends.
- Another attribution model credits the same orders differently. See Figures that move.
Still stuck

- your store’s name, the screen and the period you were looking at;
- what you expected to see, and what you see;
- a screenshot of the screen.
