Track usage and manage your AI keys
Check your storage, see what your AI generation is costing you each month, and connect the AI provider keys that power every generation. Everyone can see this tab; admins and owners can change the keys.
Open the Usage & AI Keys tab
Go to Usage & AI Keys in your account settings. The Usage widget at the bottom of the sidebar shows the same two headline numbers — this month’s AI spend and your storage — and links straight here; see Find your way around.

Resource usage
The top block, Resource Usage, shows what you’re using:
- Storage — the space your library and assets take up, shown as used / quota (for example, 2.4 MB / 1 TB) across all stores, with a bar underneath. A small badge appears once you cross 80%, and turns to Limit if you reach your quota.
- Team Members and Stores are both marked Unlimited — they’re plain counts, never a cap, so add as many people and stores as you need.
AI usage — what generation costs you
The AI Usage block shows what your generation actually costs on your own provider accounts, month by month:
- The headline is the month’s estimated spend in dollars, next to the volume behind it — tokens in and out, images, and the number of AI calls.
- The bar strip underneath is your daily rhythm — one bar per day of the month, so a heavy generation day stands out at a glance. Hover a bar for that day’s amount.
- By Model breaks the spend down by AI model (for example, Claude Sonnet 4.6 or GPT Image 2), and By Type by what you were generating — Hooks, Image Asset, Omni Assistant, Market Research Report, and so on. Each row shows its tokens and call count with its cost.
- Use the ‹ › arrows next to the month to page back through previous months.

These numbers are estimates of what the providers bill you directly on your own keys, priced at each provider’s current rates — Omnymous never charges for generation. Use them to spot what your content actually costs: if image creatives dominate the month, that’s where to tune.
The same monthly amount also appears as an AI Spend line in your store’s profit report, so your margins account for content costs too — see Store analytics.
Your AI keys, plainly
Omnymous generates with your own provider accounts. You connect a key from each AI provider, and every generation runs on your account. That means:
- Unlimited generations — there are no per-generation credits inside Omnymous.
- You pay the providers directly — OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google bill you for what you use.
- Your keys stay safe — each key is validated when you add it, AES-256 encrypted, and never shared.
On screen, this is the AI Keys (BYOK) block (“bring your own keys”), with one card per provider:
- OpenAI — Required — Deep research and image generation.
- Anthropic — Required — Content generation and page creation.
- Google Gemini — Optional — an alternative provider for image generation.
You need both Required providers connected for generation to run. Google is optional — add it only if you’d rather use it for images.
Add or validate a key
Each provider has its own card. To connect one:
- Paste your key into the card’s field. Each field shows the shape it expects — sk-… for OpenAI, sk-ant-… for Anthropic, AIza… for Google.
- Click Validate & Save. Omnymous checks the key with the provider before saving it, so you know right away that it works.
Not sure where to find your key? Each card has a How to get your … key guide — click it to expand step-by-step instructions and a direct link to the provider’s console.

Once a key is saved, the card shows a Validated badge and the key as a masked hint (for example, ····6AEA) marked Active — the full key is never shown again. Use Replace Key to swap in a new one, or Remove to delete it.
Who can change keys: everyone can see whether keys are connected, but only admins and owners can add, replace, or remove them.
When keys are missing or broken
If a required provider’s key is missing or stops working, generation can’t run. Instead of failing quietly, Omnymous tells you what’s wrong and points you here — for example, Add your OpenAI API key in Settings → AI Keys to run generation. Omni shows the same note with an Add keys button.
To fix it, come back to this tab and Replace Key on the affected provider, then try your generation in Studio again.
Troubleshooting
“Invalid key. Check and retry.” The key didn’t validate. Copy the whole key again with no extra spaces, and make sure billing is active on that provider’s account — a provider often won’t issue a working key until you’ve added a payment method.
Generations fail even though keys are connected A saved key still needs credit on the provider’s side. If generations start failing, check that provider’s own dashboard — the account may be out of credit or over a spending limit. Top it up there, and generation resumes on its own.
You can see the keys but can’t change them Only admins and owners can add, replace, or remove keys. Ask a workspace admin or owner to update them.
