# Set up your workspace

Setup's seven steps in order, what each one asks for, which ones you can skip, and the three it does not go back to.

Setup opens as soon as your account is verified and walks you through seven steps, one screen each; a phone counts them, as in **Step 03 / 07**. A last screen, **All done!**, takes you to the Dashboard.

## Before you start

- A payment card.
- Your Shopify store’s name, and a Shopify account for it that can install apps.
- API keys for OpenAI, Anthropic and Google Gemini. Each provider’s card in setup shows how to get one.
- If you will launch ads: access to your Meta ad account.

## Three steps you cannot go back to

**Your plan**, **Payment details** and **Your organization** are done once. After them, **Back** never returns to them, and the organization’s name cannot be changed after setup.

## The steps

1. **Your plan**

   Choose **Monthly** or **Yearly**, and how many Shopify stores to start with. The first store is included; more can be added later from Settings. Press **Next**.

2. **Payment details**

   Enter your card and subscribe. Payments go through Stripe.

3. **Your organization**

   Type your brand’s or company’s name under **Organization name**. It is your workspace’s name, and it cannot be changed after setup.

4. **Invite team**

   Type a colleague’s email address, choose **Admin**, **Member** or **Viewer**, and press **Add**. This step is optional: **Skip** leaves it for later, in Settings.

5. **Connect store**

   Link your Shopify store and set its pixel to Always on. Setup does not go on until it is. See [Connect your store](https://docs.omnymous.com/getting-started/connect-your-store).

6. **Connect ad platform**

   Pick **Meta** to launch ads and read their results, or **Google** or **TikTok** to read them, then connect the account. **Skip** leaves this for later.

7. **Connect AI keys**

   Paste a key into each provider marked **Required** and press **Validate & save**. **Higgsfield**, for video, is **Optional**. **Next** stays greyed out until every required provider has a key.

8. **All done!**

   A summary of what you set up. Press **Go to dashboard**.

## Check that it worked

You land on the Dashboard, with your store’s name at the foot of the sidebar.

## If something goes wrong

| What you see                                  | What to do                                                                                                                         |
| --------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Next** is greyed out on **Connect AI keys** | A provider marked **Required** has no key yet. The strip under the cards counts how many are configured.                           |
| **Next** is greyed out on **Connect store**   | The store’s pixel is not on Always on yet. See [Connect your store](https://docs.omnymous.com/getting-started/connect-your-store). |
| The organization’s name is wrong              | It cannot be changed after setup.                                                                                                  |
